Johnny Bench, considered by many to be the best catcher in baseball history, gave out some high praise to Buster Posey while speaking on the MLB Network on Friday.
When asked who he thinks is the best catcher in baseball, Bench responded by saying, "I think, probably Posey."
His words carry significant clout. After all, he appeared in 14 All-Star Games, won 10 Gold Gloves, was the 1970 and 1972 NL MVP, and hit 389 career home runs.
