Matt Duffy is no longer a member of the Giants.
San Francisco traded its third baseman to the Rays for lefty starter Matt Moore, a source confirmed to CSNBayArea.com's Alex Pavlovic.
The Giants also sent prospects Lucius Fox and Michael Santos to Tampa Bay.

Moore is 7-7 with a 4.08 ERA through 21 starts this season.

He is 4-2 with a 1.99 ERA over his last six outings.
Duffy has been sidelined since June 19 with an Achilles strain.

He was hitting .253 with four home runs and 21 RBI in 70 games.
Duffy was runner-up for Rookie of the Year last season.
Last Thursday, the Giants acquired Eduardo Nunez from the Twins, who is expected to be the team's third baseman moving forward.
Before the deal was announced, general manager Bobby Evans met with Duffy to assure the young third baseman that he is not being replaced after spending over a month on the disabled list with an Achilles strain.
When Duffy does return, likely sometime in the next couple weeks, the Giants will build in additional off days to make sure he stays healthy.
Fox, 19, was hitting .207 (59-for-285) with 12 extra-base hits in 75 games with Class A Augusta this season. The Bahamian shortstop was signed by the Giants as a non-drafted free agent on July 2, 2015 and entered the 2016 season ranked by Baseball America as the Giants’ fourth-best prospect.
Santos, 21, has gone 4-2 with a 2.91 ERA (19er, 58.2ip) in 10 starts for Class A Augusta this season. Signed by the Giants as a non-drafted free agent in 2012, the Dominican Republic native has posted a career 9-9 record with a 2.84 ERA (56er, 177.2ip) in 37 career minor league appearances.
