When Jordan Bell was drafted by the Warriors in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft, he was added to one of the greatest rosters in the history of the league. Future Hall of Famers like Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala were at the height of their dynastic run.
Coming to a historically great team could be very intimidating, especially being a young rookie trying to fit in with basketball legends. However, Bell is happy to share just how welcoming his teammates were, especially Curry.
"Steph is exactly what you see," Bell said on the latest episode of the Dubs Talk podcast.

"People are always asking me 'How is Steph? How is he in person?' And I always tell them, 'He doesn't know he is Steph. He doesn't know he is the best shooter in the NBA and one of the greatest players and guard to play the game,' " Bell said. "And I'm just like, 'He doesn't know it because he acts like he's still in college, or high school, he's still so pure to the game and always has a smile on his face'."
Bell would play two full seasons with the Warriors and Curry before journeying around the NBA and returning to the Golden State organization with the Santa Cruz Warriors. Since his return, Bell has had Sea Dubs teammates approach him about their experiences meeting Curry.

"My teammate from Santa Cruz, L.J. Figueroa, he told me, and that was with Klay [Thompson] to, he was like, 'It was weird, when I walked in, Steph and Klay said what's up to me. They like introduced themselves to me,' " Bell shared. "To me, I am like, shouldn't everybody do that? But sometimes people have egos or they feel like you are supposed to speak to them first. But [Figeuroa] was like, 'No, he came up to my locker and asked me my name, he knew I went to Oregon,' and he was just so mind blown. And I am like, 'yeah, that is like Steph in a box right there'."

"He doesn't know he is Steph. That does not mean you have the right to act like an A-hole, if you have a name or you are famous, but from him to be at the tier he is at, and be like so humble about himself is amazing."
