There weren’t many bright spots in the Warriors’ first-ever game played inside Chase Center, as the Lakers dominated in a 123-101 preseason win.
However, recent roster addition Marquese Chriss was impressive in his debut with Golden State. The former top-10 draft pick stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with eight points, six rebounds and four assists in 14 minutes.
Warriors forward Draymond Green was quick to praise the Sacramento native when asked about Chriss’ performance, on a night where there weren't many positives to reflect on.

“I think he played great, I think he’s been great all of training camp,” Green said. “He’s been on a couple teams, and everybody has kind of written him off. But he’s been amazing in camp, and to me, it look like he’s figuring it out.”
Coach Steve Kerr also was very complimentary of the big man following Saturday night's game.
Chriss was drafted No. 8 overall by the Phoenix Suns back in 2016 after one season at Washington. Chriss has been traded several times and finished the 2018-19 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Golden State Warriors
With the Warriors' frontcourt depth looking extremely thin at the moment, Chriss might just play his way onto the final 15-man roster for Golden State.
Especially if he keeps up this level of production.
