Paschall has perfect reaction to Mitchell's $195M extension

Eric Paschall and Donovan Mitchell both grew up in Westchester County, New York. They both were named First-Team All-Rookie. But Mitchell now has a whole lot more money than Paschall.

The Utah Jazz's star shooting guard agreed to a five-year, $195 million max contract extension on Sunday, and Paschall, the Warriors' second-round draft pick in 2019, had the perfect reaction to the news.

Paschall's rookie contract is worth $4.2 million over three seasons. The young forward proved to be worth much more than that as a rookie.

Paschall, who turned 24 years old earlier this month, averaged 14 points per game as a rookie. He received much more playing time than expected and fully took advantage of his opportunities. With a likely starting lineup Steph Curry, Kelly Oubre, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and James Wiseman, Paschall could be looked upon as a Sixth Man this upcoming season.

Mitchell and Paschall both should have long, successful careers in the NBA. One thing is for sure: Dinner is on Mitchell the next time these two meet up.
