Veteran point guard Jarrett Jack will be on a new team for the 2016-17 season.

The Brooklyn Nets are attempting to trade the 11-year veteran, but if they can't find a team to take Jack, they will waive him, according to The Vertical.

Jack is scheduled to make $6.3 million next season, and if he's waived by Thursday, the Nets only owe him $500,000, according to the report.

The 32-year-old is coming off a torn right ACL that caused him to miss the final 50 games of the 2015-16 season.

Jack spent the 2012-13 season with the Warriors, averaging 12.9 points, 5.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 79 games.

He left the Warriors after that one season and signed a four-year, $25 million deal with the Cavaliers. He lasted just one season before Cleveland shipped him to Brooklyn in a three-team trade that included Boston.
