Steph Curry, Ja Morant exchange DMs after Andre Iguodala-related beef

It sounds like there is no beef between Warriors superstar Steph Curry and Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant.

After shootaround in Dallas on Wednesday, the No. 2 overall pick from the 2019 NBA Draft spoke to reporters.

And as Evan Barnes of The Commercial Appeal writes:

Both Curry and Morant used shushing emojis in their pictures and Curry later reached out to him via a direct message. It was a pleasant conversation, Morant said, and while the two respected each other with no ill will, the Grizzlies rookie said he had no regrets about speaking his mind

“I still respect Curry as a player and person,” Morant said. “But like I said, I’m a competitor at the end of the day. (I) felt like everybody in this league lace their shoes up like I do, so there’s no point for me to be scared of anybody.”

In case you missed what happened -- Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks created headlines with his comments about Andre Iguodala on Monday night, and Morant augmented it with the following tweet:

He also liked a tweet that read: "F--k Iguodala."

When ESPN's Rachel Nichols tweeted a picture of Curry's feelings about the situation that clearly defended the 2015 NBA Finals MVP, Morant decided to troll Curry by tweeting a picture of Kevin Durant holding the NBA Finals MVP trophy.

The 20-year old then walked it back some by sending out a couple tweets:

So there you go.

Unfortunately, the basketball world won't get to see Steph and Ja face each other so quite some time because the Warriors and Grizzlies don't play each other again this season.
