They escorted media out of the gym and locked the doors.
Curry was about to go through some light individual drills, testing his sprained left knee under the supervision of the training staff and the observation of the coaches.
He is scheduled for reevaluation on Saturday but the Warriors have consistently said they do not anticipate him playing in the first-round series against the Spurs that begins with Game 1 at noon on Saturday.
“It’s good to see him moving around,” coach Steve Kerr said. “But he’s not close to playing.”

Before the gym was cleared and the doors locked, Curry already had completed a workout with performance specialist Chelsea Lane.
Wearing a brace on the left knee recovering from that MCL sprain sustained on March 23, he did slides to test his lateral movement and did some dribbling while running at half-speed, with very slight changes of direction.
The Warriors are hopeful Curry could return for the Western Conference semifinals, should they advance. Game 1 of that round will begin sometime between April 28 and May 1.
Quinn Cook, who started at point guard in 16 of the last 17 games, is expected to once again replace Curry in the starting lineup against San Antonio.
