Wiggins and guard Klay Thompson have struggled mightily this season and Warriors coach Steve Kerr has stuck by his two veterans despite their overwhelming inconsistencies.
In 21 games this season, Wiggins is averaging career-lows in points (12.1) and assists (1.1) per game with 4.4 rebounds on 41.3-percent shooting from the field and a career-low 27.9 percent from 3-point range.
Meanwhile, Podziemski has been a big spark for the Warriors off the bench this season and is averaging 8.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in 19.7 minutes on the court.
Podziemski will make his first NBA start against the Clippers.
