With two games left in the regular season, the Warriors are playing their first meaningless game of the year. Golden State (56-24) clinched the No. 1 seed in the West and has nothing to play for -- other than staying sharp -- Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr has chosen to rest superstar Kevin Durant and center Andrew Bogut for the game. Andre Iguodala will also miss the game with a toe soreness, although Kerr has deemed the injury not serious.
The Dubs have won five straight games and are playing some of their best basketball of the season. Steph Curry led the way with 27 points in Sunday night's win over the Clippers, and will likely take on an added scoring load with Durant on the bench.

The Pelicans (33-48), meanwhile, are playing for ping-pong balls in the draft lottery. Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis has not played since March 24 with "back spasms," although his absence is likely more due to a trade request has taken over the team since February. Despite having nothing to play for, New Orleans had a nice win over the Kings in their last contest. Former Warrior Ian Clark led the Pelicans with 31 points, including seven 3-pointers.
Davis, however, is listed as probable for the game. He showed up to the arena wearing a "That's All, Folks" shirt. Cue the speculation ...
