After completing a multi-player trade on Thursday to acquire guard/forward Andrew Wiggins from the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 24-year-old finally touched down in the Bay Area on Friday night.
On the eve of his first career start with the Warriors at Chase Center against the Los Angeles Lakers, Wiggins arrived with his daughter in hand at San Francisco International Airport.

“I feel like now, joining a team like this,” Wiggins told Warriors broadcaster Kelenna Azubuike after being picked up. “That my game is going to be elevated even more.”

Wiggins got a VIP tour of Chase Center and got the first look at his new locker, right alongside two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry.
He’ll get a serious challenge right off the bat with the Warriors, as Wiggins likely will spend his debut guarding three-time NBA Finals MVP LeBron James.
