It looks like Malik Monk's bandaged look is here to stay, much to the chagrin of his teammate De'Aaron Fox.
Speaking with reporters following the Kings' 122-115 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night at Golden 1 Center, the Kings star shared his thoughts on Monk wearing a Band-Aid on his face.
"No, I hate the Band-Aid. We're not winning because of the Band-Aid," a laughing Fox told reporters (h/t FOX40 News' Sean Cunningham). "His cut is healed. He's fine.

"He's perfectly fine. But he's going to keep wearing the Band-Aid."
Monk initially started wearing a Band-Aid after getting scratched and cut in the face in the Kings' 116-113 loss to the Warriors on Nov. 7.
Since then, the Kings have won three straight games -- including a win over those same Warriors -- and six of their last eight to sit at .500 (6-6) early in the 2022-23 NBA season.
With some of Monk's teammates and Kings fans enjoying his quasi-throwback look, the 24-year-old guard says that the Band-Aid look is not going anywhere.

"I've got to," Monk said, smiling, when asked if he will keep putting Band-Aids on his face. "Until my color comes back, I'm going to be wearing it."
Monk jokingly added that if the cut heals while Sacramento continues to play well, he will cut his face to give him a reason to resume wearing a bandage.
While Monk wearing a Band-Aid on his face might seem odd to Fox, their other teammates, such as Kevin Huerter, approve of the look, so long as the Kings keep winning.

"But he's played well since he put it on, and we've won the last two games, so he can keep riding with it," Huerter told reporters after practice on Nov. 12. "[He better] wear it until we lose."
Even Fox's wife, Reece Caldwell, was spotted handing Monk a new Band-Aid and giving out hundreds of them to media and fans before the Kings' clash with the Warriors on Sunday.
In the end, although Fox might not like Monk's look, it's clear that something is working with the Band-Aid.
