Giants' Beltran says no improvement from shot

Prior to the Giants' Saturday game with the Marlins, Carlos Beltran revealed to reporters that he feels no improvement in his wrist following a cortisone shot.

"Same thing, brother. Nothing new," said Beltran.

The Giants were hoping the cortisone shot would give him some temporary relief from the pain, allowing him to re-enter the lineup.

It is unclear whether or not he will be placed on the DL.
