San Jose Mercury News Giants beat reporter Andrew Baggarly also reported on his Twitter page this morning that RHP Waldis Joaquin will replace Sanchez on the active roster. Joaquin is reported to be on his way to Atlanta to join the Giants today.CLARIFICATION: Mercury News reporter Andrew Baggarly did not state that Sanchez would be placed on the DL.
