Humboldt State draft prospect Alex Cappa will work out this week for 49ers offensive line coach John Benton in Arizona, he told NBC Sports Bay Area.
Cappa has visited the Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota and the New York Jets during the pre-draft process.
Cappa (6-foot-7, 305 pounds) attended Dublin High School before attending Humboldt State in Arcata, where he was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference’s Offensive Lineman of the Year in each of his four seasons. He was a first-team Division II All-American as a senior.

A left tackle throughout his college career, Cappa has the versatility to play guard or tackle in the NFL. He lined up at every line position except center during the week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Cappa is rated as a fourth- to fifth-round prospect, according to NFL.com. He is training with former NFL center LeCharles Bentley, owner of Offensive Line Performance in Chandler, Arizona.
