49ers troll Giants, Jets about ‘fresh cut grass' at Levi's

MetLife Stadium is in the 49ers' rearview mirror, but ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, it still was fresh on their minds.

Sure, they're happy to be home. But clearly, they're equally pleased to be playing on real grass -- not shoddy turf -- at Levi's Stadium.

The 49ers' frustrations with the field conditions at MetLife Stadium were more than understandable, given the numerous players they lost to injury in the wins over the New York Jets and New York Giants. Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas sustained season-ending ACL injuries in the former, and Jordan Reed was placed on injured reserve with an MCL injury sustained in the latter. And those were just the most serious injuries.
