The 49ers' frustrations with the field conditions at MetLife Stadium were more than understandable, given the numerous players they lost to injury in the wins over the New York Jets and New York Giants. Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas sustained season-ending ACL injuries in the former, and Jordan Reed was placed on injured reserve with an MCL injury sustained in the latter. And those were just the most serious injuries.

Sunday night's game against the Eagles is the first of three straight home games for the 49ers. Not only is the grass at Levi's Stadium actually real, but it's also greener, too.
