CeeDee Lamb isn't going anywhere.
The star wide receiver agreed to a four-year, $136 million contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday, citing sources. The deal, which reportedly includes $100 million guaranteed and a $38 million signing bonus, makes him the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Lamb, 25, has been away from the Cowboys since OTAs. Jerry Jones had insisted earlier this month that he didn't "have any urgency" to get an extension done, while Lamb showed his displeasure on social media.
Now, Lamb is the second-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL, trailing only Vikings star Justin Jefferson, who cashed in with a four-year, $140 million extension earlier this offseason.
The deal comes as the 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk remain at an impasse in contract negotiations, with the star wideout seeking an extension that's more in line with market value and participating in a "hold-in" of his own. Aiyuk traveled with the team to its 2024 NFL preseason finale against the Raiders in Las Vegas this past Friday after reportedly meeting with San Francisco again last Monday to iron out a long-term deal, and he remains under contract for $14.124 million with the 49ers this season.
As San Francisco and Aiyuk negotiate on a new contract, the 49ers also have explored trades with other NFL teams for their 2020 first-round draft pick. While the New England Patriots reportedly planned to offer Aiyuk an upwards of $30 million per year if they acquired him in a trade, the Pittsburgh Steelers' contract offer to Aiyuk is close to what the 49ers are offering the 26-year-old at less than $28 million per year, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.

How much Lamb's new mega-deal with the Cowboys moves the needle for Aiyuk remains to be seen.
The Cowboys drafted Lamb with the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he has already earned three All-Pro nods. He had his best season yet in 2023, earning a First-Team All-Pro selection after hauling in an NFL-leading 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.
With Monday's contract extension, Lamb is now under contract through the 2028 season. He will play the 2024 campaign on his fifth-year option, which will pay him just under $18 million.
Lamb was one of three key Cowboys players whose contract situations were up in the air. Quarterback Dak Prescott remains unsigned beyond the 2024 season, while the team picked up linebacker Micah Parsons' fifth-year option to keep him on the team through 2025.
