Christian McCaffrey's 2-yard touchdown run right before halftime Sunday in Philadelphia made the 49ers superstar just the third player in NFL history to record 50 rushing touchdowns and 25 receiving touchdowns in his career.

McCaffrey joins Pro Football Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk and Lenny Moore as the only players to ever accomplish the feat, mere weeks after tying the latter's record for consecutive games with a TD.

McCaffrey has scored 77 touchdowns from scrimmage since he entered the NFL in 2017, putting him one ahead of New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara for the most in the league over that span. Kamara needs two more receiving TDs to become the 50-25 club's fourth member.

McCaffrey's second-quarter TD on Sunday was his league-high 17th from scrimmage this season, with the 49ers star being the only player in the NFL with at least 10 rushing and five receiving scores. It also added to McCaffrey's record total in a season by a 49ers running back -- a mark he surpassed during the Thanksgiving win over the Seattle Seahawks.

It also was McCaffrey's 27th TD in just 23 games with the 49ers.

One day, McCaffrey might be alongside Faulk and Moore in Canton, but for now, he can take solace in joining those two legendary players in rarified air.
