One after another, 49ers and New York Jets players were leaving Sunday's game at MetLife Stadium with leg injuries.
It was unsettling to watch Jimmy Garoppolo, Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas, Raheem Mostert and Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman all leave the game.
During the game, the Fox broadcasters pointed out that Sunday's contest was only the second game played on the new turf at the East Rutherford stadium.

After the 49ers' win, players and coaches vented about the stickiness of the turf.
Deebo Samuel, who didn't play in the game because he's recovering from his own foot injury, shared his opinion of the turf on Twitter a few hours after the conclusion of the game.
The condition of the field caused the 49ers to likely lose Bosa for the season with a torn ACL, Thomas for a significant amount of time, and Garoppolo and Mostert for a few weeks.
For a team that expected to return to the Super Bowl, these injuries, combined with the ones suffer before Sunday's game, could be a crushing blow.

As for Samuel, out with his Jones fracture, he's probably fortunate that he won't play in either game at MetLife Stadium.
