Moody's record would be shortlived however, as Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker nailed a 57-yard field goal in the third quarter of Super Bowl LVIII.
Before Moody and Butker's booming kicks on Sunday, the previous Super Bowl record was a 54-yard field goal by Buffalo Bills kicker Steve Christie in Super Bowl XXVIII.
