Hockey season is inching closer.

While the hockey news at the moment is relatively scarce -- save for the Sharks releasing their list of giveaways for the upcoming season -- goaltender Aaron Dell thought he'd give the fans something to talk about.

The 30-year-old goalie recently released a photo of the alternate pads he'll sport this season when the Sharks are wearing their "Stealth Mode' sweaters, and they are straight fire.

Very clean.

Dell made 25 starts last season for the Sharks, sporting a 3.17 goals against average and a .886 save percentage.

While the Sharks lost Joe Pavelski in the offseason, they still are loaded with talent and should be among the favorites to make it out of the Western Conference. But if they are going to get out of the rough and tumble West, Dell and Martin Jones both will have to take their games to the next level.

The new pads won't hurt because as they say: Look good, feel good. Feel good, play good.
